About Dr. Rashid
Dr. Rashid is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with training in both emergency medicine and internal medicine. He completed his residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, where he served as Chief Academic Resident. He also trained at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
Over his career, he has practiced in emergency departments, intensive care units, hospitalist roles, and telemedicine. He has served as an emergency department Medical Director and as Director of Research for a major residency program, and he is an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Emergency and critical care medicine trains a physician to look at the whole patient, notice what doesn’t fit, and put safety first. That matters in men’s health: ED and weight gain are often tied to blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, heart health, and the medicines a patient already takes. As Medical Director, Dr. Rashid makes sure every service at Aspire is delivered safely and in line with current medical standards.
