ED care in Metairie

Urologist or men’s health clinic: which do you need?

Urologists, primary care doctors, and men’s health clinics all treat erectile dysfunction (ED). A urologist is the right choice for surgery, cancer care, and complex urinary problems. A physician-led clinic like Aspire focuses on ED, with private, in-person visits and no referral needed. If you need a urologist, we’ll tell you.

When a urologist is the right call

  • You may need surgery, such as a penile implant or a prostate procedure.
  • You have, or may have, prostate, bladder, kidney, or testicular cancer.
  • You have blood in your urine, trouble urinating, a new lump, or severe pain.

Emergency: an erection lasting more than 4 hours needs emergency care right away.

When a men’s health clinic may fit

  • ED is your main concern.
  • Viagra or Cialis has stopped working, or never did.
  • You want a private, in-person visit with a licensed provider.
  • You don’t have a referral and don’t want to wait for one.
  • You want ED medication, ED injections, and Soundwave Therapy in one place.

What Aspire does and doesn’t do

We do: ED evaluations, ED medication, ED injections, and Soundwave Therapy, overseen by our Medical Director, Nauman Rashid, MD, a board-certified emergency medicine physician.

We don’t: perform surgery, provide cancer care, or offer testosterone replacement therapy.

If anything points to another condition, we will tell you and, where needed, point you to your primary care doctor or a specialist.

What’s the catch? There isn’t one.

Here are the facts, plainly:

  • Your first visit is free.
  • Your first in-office dose of medication is free when your provider recommends it.
  • Financing and monthly plans are available, subject to approval.
  • No insurance needed for the best pricing.

Before you choose a treatment plan, we explain what it costs and how payment works, so you can decide with all the facts.
